Our Approach

How Tovrik programmes are structured

Each programme begins with the reading. Participants receive a chapter or set of materials before the session, so the group can start its discussion from a common point of reference rather than spending session time on introductory explanation. This is the central discipline of the reading-led format: the text comes first.

Sessions run in small cohorts — between eight and twelve participants — which allows for genuine discussion rather than a question-and-answer format. Facilitators guide the conversation and help with vocabulary but do not offer commentary on individual participants' circumstances. The educational boundary is maintained throughout.

Printed materials accompany each programme. These are not handouts to be filed away. They are designed to be kept and returned to when the relevant document, decision, or conversation arrives in the participant's own household.

Shared Standards

What every Tovrik programme upholds

No advisory boundary crossed

Facilitators are trained to remain within educational scope. No personal financial commentary; no product mentions.

Participant privacy respected

Enrolment data is used for programme coordination only. Not shared with third parties or financial institutions.

Reading material reviewed each cohort

Content is checked for accuracy against current Singapore regulatory terminology before each new cohort begins.

Cohort size controlled

Places are capped and waiting lists maintained rather than expanding cohort size. Discussion quality is the priority.

Printed materials to a consistent standard

Physical programme materials are produced consistently and provided to participants at or before the first session.

Internal review after each run

Facilitators review each cohort's reading content and discussion before the next programme run. Observations are incorporated.
